Why this page exists
When something will not load, the answer is almost always in one of these five lines. This page puts them somewhere you can read them out to us.
Device
Whether you are on a phone or a computer. Mobile browsers lay pages out differently, so this is usually the first thing worth knowing.
Operating system
Windows, macOS or Linux. A handful of problems only ever happen on one of them.
Browser and version
Tells us whether you are on a current browser. A very old one will fail on things that work everywhere else, and the fix is usually to update it.
IP address and location
Roughly where you are reading from. A few pages behave differently in the UK, the USA, Australia and Canada, so this explains a difference that would otherwise look like a bug.
