STANDBY ACTOR WEBSITE

Yet another website design that utilizes an audio player on the homepage. We had one of our voice over artists request something just like it and when it was complete we figured we would share this design with the rest of you.

Homepage image is linked to the occupation you chose when you signed up for the website or toggled on through the settings page of your administrator, so if you chose that you're an actor, you may get a clapper board, if you chose a voice over artist, you might get a microphone. All images look like hand drawn in dark chalk and don't distract away from the website while providing your visitor an instant recognition and confirmation that they are where they should be. We've had few of our users contact us to switch those images out for them or completely turn them off. We can do that as well for you if you don't find the appeal there.

Rest of the website jumps through well padded sections of your information while guided by the left side navigation icons that scroll along with the page.

The color of sections toggles gently between light pre-programmed colors that can be modified using a custom CSS, while the color selections you've picked out is purely for the icons link colors and headings.

One might argue this minimalist approach may make the site appear empty or unfinished at first glance. However, upon further interaction, one understands this thoughtful design choice communicates clarity and intentionality.
